About
Team Freehold is a Veteran Owned Business named in honor of a group of friends blessed with the common bonds of friendship, Thoroughbred Horse Racing and the historic Freehold Borough in scenic Monmouth County, New Jersey.
This group of friends or “band of brothers” either spent their childhood or adult life centered around this central NJ town. This also included spending quality time together enjoying live racing at Saratoga Race Course, Monmouth Park and thoroughbred simulcasts at Freehold Raceway.

Compete in Thoroughbred Horse Racing, while placing above all else, the health and welfare of our equine athletes and the incredible jockeys who team with them.

Honor those men and women who have served in the U.S. military including our First Responders and those heroes who continue to protect and serve our great Nation and local communities.

Give Back, Team Freehold pledges proceeds from every purse achieved to those noble charities dedicated to “those who serve”. This includes Thoroughbred Aftercare, jockeys with disabilities, the backstretch community that make this great sport operate and Military Veteran/First Responders and their families.

Font: Stencil (modified, forward leaning), representative of the identification/markings on all military equipment including soldier “dog tags”

Diamonds (on sleeve): important symbol in U.S. military, associated with the rank of First Sergeant, i.e. “Top” Sergeant, Noncommissioned Officer at the Company level.
Honoring
Team Freehold Reverse First Responder Flag is in honor and recognition of our U.S. Military and First Responders, always leading from the front.
Recognition
Team Freehold horse logo is in recognition of those magnificent athletes (equine and jockeys) and backstretch crews who make Thoroughbred Horse Racing the magical sport it is today.
Creator
Team Freehold designs, logos, silks and colors are created by Nicholas Capezzuto from Capezzuto Artistry. His intention is to showcase his artwork and aesthetic through fine arts, photography, and graphic design.
He has been practicing different types of art his entire life. Growing up, art was always a way for him to express himself. His work is based in New Jersey and New York City.
